The MRC La Côte-de-Gaspé has at least four industrial zones and two industrial parks over its territory with very similar vocations.
The Les Augustines industrial park is located 3 kilometres from the airport at Gaspé and 7 kilometres from the port at Sandy Beach. The principal activities of this park are: major wholesale enterprises, light and diverse industries.
The fisheries industrial park is located at Rivière-au-Renard. Its sectors of activity are essentially the same as those at Gaspé, but include fishing related industries.
The rental rate per square metre is much lower in the MRC La Côte-de-Gaspé than in major urban centres. In Gaspé’s industrial parks and zones, the price of lots is a mere $0.10 (10 cents) per square metre and a lot of unused space is still available. |
