Project description
The East Coast Rush project, set up by diverse representatives of the M.R.C. La Côte-de-Gaspé, seeks to build industry through the active promotion of the economic, strategic and environmental advantages, as well as the exceptional quality of life, in this region of the Gaspésie.
The East Coast Rush unveils the region using sound and image in the form of an informational folder, a CDRom and an Internet gateway.
The strategy has been elaborated to welcome new promoters, favoring and facilitating their setup through a Network-express system which regroups all of the economic representatives. This system of encounters and collaborative work allows projects to progress rapidly in five promising industrial sectors which have been given priority to optimize the region’s resources and advantages; recreotourism, health and nature; marine resources, sciences and technologies; wind energy; added value forestry products and information and multimedia technologies. |
